It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elmer Tau Jr. of Lake City, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer R. Tau Sr. and Rita Tau (Smeltzer); his wife Eloise M. Tau (Chipman); and his brothers, Everett L. Tau, Paul S. Tau and James Tau.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis E. Sivik (Fred) of Butler, Cheryl R. Watters (Jay) of East Springfield and Gerald E. Tau (Cathy) of Lake City; his brothers, John H. Tau of Wattsburg and Frank A. Tau (Marjorie) of Gilbert, AZ.; his grandchildren, Aaron Watters (Noelle) of Norwell, MA, Christine Sivik of Butler and Stephen Sivik of Butler; and his great grandchild Marcelino Watters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours and services will be held privately by the family, due to Covid-19.
