It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Pier of Lake City, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pier and Elsie Pier (Fiesler); and his siblings, Laura Giacabello and Harry Pier. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Pier (Lane); his children, Holly A. Shaffer (Stacy) of Sheffield, David R. Pier of Girard, Steven H. Pier (Carrie) of Raleigh, NC, Greg S. Nelson (Terri) of Erie and Michael D. Nelson (Mariatu) of Fairfax, VA; and the mother of his children Judy Lynch (Robert) of Sheffield. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 services will be held privately by the family.
