It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Karichner of Lamar, Pennsylvania, born in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel G. Shelly and Leona Nash Shelly. She is survived by: her children, Paul L. Karichner (Beth Slegle) of Salladasburg and Kori L. Pene (William) of East Stroudsburg; her sister Linda Fritz of Bedford; her stepsons, Bob Seyler (Bobbi Jo) of Howard and Mike Seyler (Karen Tyndale) of Howard; and her sibling's children, Britta Quick (Kevin) of Glenallen, Karl Fritz (Rachael) of Bedford and Rudy Fritz (Amy) of Bedford.
Memorial contributions in Joyce's name may be made through the funeral home to the Mount Nittany Health Foundation.
