It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Sherman (Lamartine, Pennsylvania), born in Emlenton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Nelson Rankin; her son Donald James Sherman; and her siblings, Myrtle Logue, Donald, Darryl, John, Keith and Paul "Pete" Rankin.
She is survived by: her parent Laura Burke Rankin; her children, Larry Sherman (Roberta) of Seneca, Yvonne VanTassel (Terry) of Ocala and Dale Sherman of Knox; her sister Jack Stalker (Dorothy) of Florida; and her husband Donald. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given in the name of Arlene Sherman to her church: Salem Reformed United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 238, Lamartine, PA 16375.
