He is survived by: his wife Tuyet Ngoc Nguyen; his child Chi Huu Nguyen; his children-in-law, Suong Ho, Dat Ngoc Truong (Duy Huu Nguyen) and Nga Kieu To; his grandchildren, Tommy Thuan Nguyen, Cathy Nguyen Truong and Jimmy Nguyen; and his siblings, Oanh Schafer, Huong Thu Nguyen, Loan Thi Nguyen, Phuong Kim Thi Nguyen, Hien Huu Nguyen (Anh Hoang Thi), Ngoc Hoang Thi Nguyen (John Duong Le) and Hung Huu Nguyen (Lien Kim Thi). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
