He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Fassett (Walker); his parents, Gardner L. Fassett and Eva Fassett (Crandall); and his sister Barbara Garrow. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy W. Fassett of Bloomfield, NJ and Meredith C. Wachala; and his grandson Robert.
