He was predeceased by: his parents, Cruz Rivera and Ana M. Torres. He is survived by: his close friend Zaida Garcia-Ortiz of Lancaster; his children, Andrea, Isael, Irma, Jonathan of New York, Sonia, Elias, Edwin of Lancaster and Eraida of Puerto Rico; his siblings, Emilio, Esther, Andrea, Lydia and Delia; Jaime Lopez, Joan Rivera of Florida and Santa Heredia of Lancaster.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services (317 E Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
