James L. Landis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James L. Landis of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer B. Landis and Mary Landis (Lefever); and his siblings, Merv Landis and Erla Rohrer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy L. Landis (Stehman); and his children, Deb Oberholtzer of Mount Joy, Sandy (Mel Hoffer) of Mount Joy and Kevin Landis of Bethlehem.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lancaster Alliance Church (210 Pitney Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
