It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elliott Fassbender of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 2, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott W. Fassbender, II and Lois Wilson Fassbender; his wife Lydia Rhodes Fassbender; and his daughter Linda F. Castay. He is survived by: his children, William Fassbender, Mary F. Vincent (John), Perri Volz (Greg) and Troy D. Fassbender (Joyce); his siblings, Fred Fassbender (Toni), Barry Fassbender (Christy) and Laurie Gereaue (Mike); and his grandchildren, William Fassbender, Jr. (Shallie), Courtney Fassbender, Nicholas Vincent (Tracy), Amanda V. Roberts (Brandon), Jodi Castay, Christopher Castay, Kristin Apken, Ashlee Apken, A. Nathan Volz (Darian) and Andrew Volz. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
