She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick William and Lorraine Staerker Jr.; her husband Robert Valentine; and her brothers-in-law, Stephen Whitaker, Charles Pooler and Rick French.

She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Whitaker, Gary Staerker, Audrey, Bill Wolfe, Linda and Dennis Davis; her daughters, Teresa Corse, Tina Pooler and Tara Conklin; her grandchildren, MaHagen Butts and Carl Conklin; and her friends, Cathy French and Julie Funk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
