In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Kassandra's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She is survived by: her parents, Eugene Batiste of Granite City, IL and Lori VanKeuren of Mertztown, PA.; her former husband Daniel Milkewicz of Lansford, PA; her children, Nicole and Matthew Milkewicz; her brother Micheal Batiste of Vallejo, CA; her stepsister Amanda Mullen; her half-brother Scotty Batiste; and her grandparents, Arthur Batiste of Waterbury, CT and Catherine Sanford of East Branch, NY. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Inc. (1601 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18102).
In honor of Kassandra's loving spirit, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Carbon County Friends of Animals or the GoFundMe fund established in her memory.
