She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Ralph Hofecker and Lois Hofecker (McBurney); and her brothers, Ronald R. Hofecker and William C. Hofecker. She is survived by: her husband Thomas D. Shurie of Latrobe; her sons, Patrick Shurie (Kimberly) of Gaithersburg, MD and Randy R. Shurie of Latrobe; her grandchildren, Tobias, Samantha and Kayla Shurie; and her great grandchild Melody Love. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
