She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pennesi and Anna Pennesi (Rose); her husband Joseph E. Battaglia; her son-in-law Frank Burkett; and her brothers, John F., Peter O., Joseph M. and Donald A. Pennesi.
She is survived by: her children, Mario A. Battaglia (Ann) of Latrobe and Anita A. Burkett of Latrobe; her sister Gloria Manzi of Crabtree; her grandchildren, Gina Ciocco (Tom), Frank J. Burkett (Gina Marie), Amy C. Roy (Mark), Kara B. Mazur (Gary) and Joseph R. Battaglia (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Anna Marie Ciocco, Hailey Battaglia, Lucas Battaglia and Atticus Mazur. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Holy Family Church, 1200 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, PA 15650.
