He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Ravis and Helen F. Ravis (Borza); his brother Ronald F. Ravis; and his grandparents, George M., Anne Ravis (Jaremko), John A. Borza Sr. and Helen A. Borza (Hvizdos).
He is survived by: his children, Ryan C. Ravis of Youngwood, Roland Ravis of Uniontown and Raquel James (Jordan) of New Florence; his grandchildren, Liam E. DeChicchis, Weston M. James and Kinsley G. James; his siblings, Rick Ravis of Latrobe, Robert Ravis (Yonhee) of LaQuinta, CA and Regina Ravis of Albuquerque, NM; his nieces, Jessica Ravis and Emma Stack (Ryan); his great-nephew Austin Stack; and also Tina L. Ravis (Cyphert).
