He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond M. Berkey and Margaret Berkey (Kennedy); his wife Emma Jean Berkey (Skelly); his brothers, Dean and James Berkey; and his stepsons, Kevin and Ronald Hickman.
He is survived by: his stepson Gary Hickman (Vicki); his stepdaughter-in-law Kathy Hickman; his stepgrandchildren, Eric, Adam, Jebadiah Hickman and Erin Lezama (Tony); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jessie, Sydney, Karsyn, Peyton, Mason Hickman, Emma and Teagan Lezama; and his sibling's children, Susan Kisick (Todd), James Berkey (Carolyn), Raymond Berkey (Lisa) and William G. Berkey.
