He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Trager and Mary Trager (Kritulis); and his sister Denise M. Prislupski. He is survived by : his sons, Bradley S. (Krystal A.) and Stephen L. Trager of Wernersville; his grandchildren, Sophia A. Cotto, Brady E. Cotto and Adelaide M. Trager; and his brother Leon Trager of Quarryville.

He was an enthusiastic supporter of Arbor Day Foundation.
