It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Shrader of Lawrence, Pennsylvania, born in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence J. Shrader (Larry); her parents, Robert Weaver and Anna Weaver (Dubbs); and her brother Jim Weaver of Hanover. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Shrader of New Oxford and Dianne Shrader (John Swank); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Hudson and Dawson Hancock; her pets, Lexie, Elsie and Opie; and also Stephen Shrader (Lori) of New Oxford.
The family wishes to remain cautious because of the continued spread of COVID, so therefore the family services are being held privately under the direction of Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. of McSherrystown.
