He was predeceased by: his son Lt. Robert W.; and his sisters, Suzanne Carroll Kelly and Mary Catherine Brose. He is survived by: his wife Judith Kelly; his daughter Patti Kelly; and his adoptive son Louis Schmigel (Tanya).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to American Legion Post 237, attn: Building Fund, 9225 US-6, Union City, PA 16438.
