He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Marshall and Evelyn Smith (Cooperider); his wife Janet Smith (Gridley); his children, Daniel "Danny" Smith (Ann) of Sharpsville, IN and Rosemary (Chuck); his cousins, Melinda Chalfant (Jim) of Castle Rock, CO, Melanie Hatch (Roger) of Marshalltown, IA and Marie Herschberger (Hersch) of Wauseon, OH; his stepchildren, Michelle Zylowski (Paul), Rachelle Fletcher (Eric Bateman) of Romulus, NY and Peter David Abramson (Peggy) of Pine City, NY; and his siblings, Bud Smith (Sue) of Kokomo, IN and Connie Johnson of Kokomo, IN. He was also cherished by twenty grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
