With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helene M. Staniszewski of Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Staniszewski and Helen Staniszewski. She is survived by: her siblings, Walter Staniszewski (Joyce), Verna Smulski (Jerry), George Staniszewski and Jon Staniszewski (Elaine); and her siblings' children, Jessica (Shawn), Walter A. "Duke" (Michelle), Amy, Andrew (Shivani), Anthony (Megan), Luke, Bridget, Margo and Bruno. She is also survived by 4 great nieces and 4 great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (225 37th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201).
