He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ayers and Doris Ayers (Shumway). He is survived by: his spouse Sally-Lee F. Smith; his daughters, Birgetta Walker of Lawrenceville and Michele Jones (Jeremy) of Lawrenceville; and his siblings, Lawrence "Pat" Ayers of Tioga, Tom Ayers of Wellsboro and Peggy Murray of Tioga. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
