She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Miriam Adelia Clark (Bedient); her husband Harry Theodore; her son Donald Hanes; and her brothers, Homer Clark, Douglas Clark and Daniel Clark.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Hanes (Cathy) of Asheboro, NC, Thomas Hanes (Lori) of Parkesburg, PA, Nathan Hanes (Priscilla) of Belmont, NY and Katrina Hanes of Lawrenceville, PA; her grandchildren, Matthew Hanes of Greensboro, NC, Heatherlyn Hoos of Waverly, NY, Donald Hanes, Jr. of Horseheads, NY and Alyssa Hanes of Parkesburg, PA; her great grandchildren, Gavin and Ander Hoos; her stepgreat-grandson Michael Graham; her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Sydneymae Hanes; and her sister Mary Hannah Morris (David) of Inez, KY..
