He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; and his stepson James C. Dancesia. He is survived by: his parents, Charles E. and Ella E. Benjamin (Belcher); his sons-in-law, Cheryl Masalonis, Ronald Masalonis, Giselle Cavataio, Jim Cavataio and Wendy Schoolie; his son Richard S. Benjamin; his stepson David Dancesia; his sister Twylah Wasaleski; and also, Lorrie Schultz and Dorthea Dancesia. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
