She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Sr. Gristick and Ida Gristick (Gundrum). She is survived by : her husband Robert J. Kern; her daughter Melanie A. Newman (Matthew Swaner); her grandson Ben Swaner (Erin); her great grandchildren, Rela and Matthew; and her brothers, George and Richard Gristick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
