She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Light and Dorothy Light (Maulfair); her husband Bruce D. Schafebook; and her sisters, Lorraine M. Light and Barbara Hafey.
She is survived by: her children, David B. Schafebook of Allentown, Jill M. Schafebook of Saylorsburg and Beth A. McGlynn (James) of Lititz; her grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan and Patrick; her great grandchild Henry; and her sister Joanne Bernard.
