It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell Nye Sr. of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Nye and Margaret J. Nye (Miller); his wife Kathleen D. (Schwartz); and his brother David O. Nye. He is survived by: his children, John R., II (Kathi) and Marganne Hoffman (J. B.) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary, Claudia and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Wesley and Lainey; and his brother Jeffrey G. Nye (Janet) of Mechanicsburg, PA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rohland Funeral Home (508 Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA 17042). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. (508 Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA 17042).
