She was predeceased by : her parents, William B. Swab and Betty L. Swab. She is survived by : her husband Gerald L. Zimmerman; her children, Tim Stevens (Sharon Shaw Stevens) and Laurie Smith (Michael Smith); her grandchildren, Matthew Stevens, Sara Stevens, Melanie Smith and Victoria Smith; her brother Tim Swab (Kathy McCormick Swab); her nieces, Jennifer Mejan (Swab), Garnet Goldman (Swab) and Loralee McDonald (Swab); her stepchildren, Michelle Auman (Zimmerman) and Matthew Zimmerman; her brother William C.; and her sister-in-law Amy Swab (Stewart).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Shari to Take Heart Counseling and Equine Assisted Therapy, 699 Wooltown Rd, Wernersville, PA 19565.
