He is survived by: his wife Mary Lois Etheredge Kemp; his children, Kelly Morehead (Michael), Kurt Kemp (Stephanie) and Trey Ames (Carrie); his grandchildren, Samson, Scarlett, Sofeya, Ivy, Spencer, Rhys, Teagan, Daisy, Rose and Lily; his stepson Jack Gumb (Elizabeth); his stepgrandchildren, Jack Gumb Jr., Myers Gumb and Ellis Gumb; and his siblings, Renee Justice of Raleigh, NC, Charles Kemp and Rodney Kemp of Morehead City, NC.
