She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Richard Nelson and Mary Elizabeth "Bobbie" Nelson (Schuster); and her former husband Joseph Marzari. She is survived by: her husband David Stephan Unger; her stepdaughters, Dori Marzari Barrett of California and Melissa Marzari Wildermuth of Lynchburg, Virginia; and her siblings, Richard "Rick" Dennis Nelson (Lillian Nelson) of Charlotte and Barbara Nelson Childress (Phillip Childress) of Winston Salem.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church (4891 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA 19608). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Fellowship Church at the above mentioned address in memory of Mrs. Shirley V. Marzari.
