He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrios Mitsos and Arhontia Mitsos Helios (Pantagis); his son James Mitsos; and his brother Elefterios Mitsos. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie M. Mitsos (Stranahan); his children, Anthony Mitsos, Jr. and Dr. Stephanie Mitsos (Mark Clifford); his sisters, Mary Zissis and Rita Latgis; and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Zachary, Taylor and Natalie.
