With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan L. Dorner in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, born in Coplay, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Danny Boy; her parents, Joseph Wechsler and Emma Wechsler (Becks); her husband Julius Dorner; her children, Monica Unangst (David) of Slatington, Lisa Rex (Terry) of Newark, DE, Mark (Patie) of Whitehall, Lydia Carl (Gerald) of Walnutport and Matthew (Sangeeta) of Whitehall; her grandchildren, Jared (Sara), Kiel Unangst (Delaina), T. J. (Jess), Travis (Ashley), Christopher Rex (Nora), Alyssa Tarburton (Hunter), Alexandra, Ava Dorner, Derek, Mitchell Carl, Timothy and Shalini Dorner; her great grandchildren, Julius, Augie, Leo, Ellis, Camdyn and Ayden; and her siblings, Joseph Wechsler of Albuquerque, NM, Judith Reckmack of Coplay, Agnes Nickles (Joseph) of Bethlehem and Robert Wechsler. She was also cherished by brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and close friends.
