He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia A. Pogwist (Heller); and his wife Cari Pogwist (Corneliussen). He is survived by: his father Michael Pogwist of Tamaqua; his children, Alex Pogwist of Hazleton and Ali Rose Pogwist of Hazleton; his sister Lisa A. Filloy (Robert) of Tamaqua; and his nephews, Nathan M. and Zachary R. Filloy.
