He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Whitehead and Mary Whitehead (Whiteman); his son John; and his sister Faye Matyascik. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Whitehead (Vaiana); his daughter Jennifer (David Horvath) of Stroudsburg; his grandchildren, Mena Jo and LJ Horvath; his sister Louise (Stanley Zuber) of Summit Hill; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Matyascik of Summit Hill, Jerry Vaiana (Doris) of Virginia and Lucille Radocha of Allentown.
