It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jones of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, born in Weissport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard H. Jones; her parents, Amandus Nothstein and Bessie Nothstein (Wentz); and her sisters, Lenore Smoyer and Mildred German.
She is survived by: her son Howard Jones (Barbara) of Lehighton; her granddaughters, Jennifer Mease (Brian) of Kutztown, Jessica Cressley of Lehighton and Amy Smith (Terry) of Lehighton; and her great grandchildren, Kelly Mease, Madison, Anthony Cressley, Cole and Julia Smith.
