She was predeceased by : her mother Ellen Slater (Stroup); her son Daniel M. Slater; her father Harry F. Slater II; her stepson Edward Crawley Jr.; and her siblings, Wayne E., Paul S. Slater and Nancy Slater Lobley.

She is survived by : her significant other Edward Crawley Sr.; her son Leonard Meske, Jr.; and her brother Harry F. Slater III. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
