It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cirenia Duran-Lara of Levittown, Pennsylvania, born in Mexico, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Cirenia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Cirenia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Cirenia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberto Cervantes and Maria Duran Cervantes. She is survived by: her husband Floriberto Melesio; her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Carlos Melecio; and her grandchildren, Sebastian, Jaylin and Jasmine. She is also survived by her 6 sisters; her 5 brothers; and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home (2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of the Universe (2443 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Forest Hills Cemetery (25 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006).
