He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Scanlon and James Ireland. He is survived by: his wife Claire; his daughter Donna; his granddaughter Donna Marie; his great grandchild Zachary; his siblings, Tommy, Peggy and Patrick; his great-nieces, Christine and Heather; and his great-nephew Eric.
