He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mary Russell and Anne Mann. He is survived by: his parent Karl Ernest Oettel (Mary Catherine Cunningham); his spouse Joyce Kramer; his daughters, Mary Pettigrew (George) of Bettendorf and Joann Cosgrove (Rick) of Levittown; and his brother Robert of Sellersville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren, 6 nephews and 1 niece.
