He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite L. Penn; his parents, Robert R. Penn, Sr. and Margaret Penn (Post); his son Jonathan Penn; and his siblings, Rodger and Rodha.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Penn (Jan) of Myersville, MD and Judy Penn (Charles Brown); his grandchildren, Amber, Ryan, Noah and Matthew Penn; and his great grandchild Kameron Hoskin.
