He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Laird and Nellie S. Laird (Logue); and his siblings, Doris Kendrick, Shirley DeStito, Gloria Schiner, Marie Layser, Emily Heffner, Donna Laird, Earlene Laird and Dale McConaughey.
He is survived by: his wife Johnetta Laird (Miller); his daughters, Melissa A. Lobo (Christian) of Dillsburg, Michele L. Wagner (Sean) of Greeley, CO and Rebecca L. Laird of Lewisberry; his grandchildren, Sophia V. Lobo and Gabriel A. Lobo (Dillsburg); and his sisters, Beverly Minnich (Dale) of Mound Ridge, KS, Ivy Meyer-Mellow of Enola, PA and Sharon Fanale (Ken) of Port St. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
