We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2023, at the age of 87, Vernon V. Cleary Jr. of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon V. Cleary and Clara Belle Cleary (Kittredge); his wife Agnes Cleary (Andrews); his daughters, Mary Jane Cleary and Colleen Myers; his brother Robert; and also Burdette Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Clara J. Cleary of Carlisle, Charlene M. Cleary of Wellsville and Maurlene A. Betz (Douglas) of New Cumberland; his siblings, John Cleary (Donna) and Margaret Haley (Thomas) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Michelle Schrantz (David), Danielle Betz, Nicole Hornbarger and Derek Myers (Libby); and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elsie Jean Hornbarger, William, Jane and Alexander Schrantz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
