He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chalmers and Mary Elizabeth (Pangburn) Chalmers; his brother William John Chalmers, his aunts, Eleanor (Pangburn) Shelly and Sara (Pangburn) Bell; his uncle Robert Shelly; and his grandparents, John and Frances Pangburn.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Chalmers (Ranck); his siblings, Craig Chalmers (Donna Kleso) of Florida, John Chalmers (Bonnie) of Dewart, Pa, and Eleanor Daugherty of Enola, Pa; his grandchildren, Hunter, Harrison, Kendall (Mason Breed) and Gracie Murphy; and his great grandchild Saylor Mae Breed.
The family suggests contributions in Richard's memory be made in honor/memory of Richard Chalmers to one of the following: Hollidaysburg Veteran's Home, in memory of Richard A. Chalmers, 138 Veterans Blvd., Duncansville, PA 16635.
