It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Birch Sr. (Lewistown, Pennsylvania), born in Burnham, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Birch and Ethel Birch (Daffner); and his brother William R. Birch. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Birch (Yohn); his children, Cathy Walker (Neal) of Lewistown, Ala, Birch II (Beth) of Lewistown and Margaret Yetter (Albert Johnson) of Lewistown; his grandchildren, Kierstin Walker (Dane Wilburne), Mckenzee Walker (Tyler Hamler), Joseph Birch (Hannah), Alan E. Birch (Haley Kipp), Zane Frey (Olivia Riden) and Kortlin Yetter; his brother Ronald D. Birch (Judy) of Washington; and his aunt Anna Mae Patterman of Colorado. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
