He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl F. Echard and Grace Echard (Allison); and his brother Don Echard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Sally" Echard (Hammel); his son James Echard (Michelle) of Lewistown; his sister Barbara Engle (Cary) of Lemoyne; and his grandchildren, Leah and Allison Echard.
