Eleanor C. Holesapple Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor C. Holesapple of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Eleanor farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eleanor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Crisswell and Vivan Crisswell Johns (Stoner). She is survived by: her sons, James T. Crisswell (Angela) of McVeytown, Michael L. Holesapple of Lewistown and Paul E. Holesapple (Angela Snyder) of Jones, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Leona Marker of Lewistown and James E. Crisswell (Christine) of Lewistown. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Juniata Memorial Park (9010 US-522, Lewistown, PA 17044).
