It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth McCalips (Lewistown, Pennsylvania), born in State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Cindy Vogt; her grandson Jonathan Houy; and her siblings, Robert Passmore (Bonnie), Charles Passmore (Helen) and Cathy Sprinkle (late Ted).
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Cook McCalips; her daughters, Cathy McCalips (Jeffrey Silks) of Monroeville and Linda Houy (Michael) of Monroeville; her sister Deborah Carodiskey (late Thomas) of Lewistown; and her grandchildren, Charlie Vogt, Megan Kauffman, Benjamin Vogt, Michael Vogt, Matthew Houy, James McPherson and Jon. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
