He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earnest Sr. and Edna Earnest (Smith); his brother Kenneth R. Earnest; and his sisters-in-law, Tina Earnest and Gail L. Earnest.
He is survived by: his wife LuAnn Earnest (Shawver); his son Matthew Earnest (Dakota Dobson) of Lewistown; his grandson Tyler Earnest; and his siblings, John Earnest Jr., Judy Melius (William Sr.), Anita Burdge (Ronald) and Calvin Earnest (Sheila).
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes (200 N Main St, Lewistown, PA 17044). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Mount Rock Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's memory to Junction Fire House or Rescue Our Furry Friends.
