He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Sr. Shuey and Mary Shuey (Naylor); his stepmother Lorraine Shuey (Lyons); and his brother Robert G. Shuey Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carole Anne Shuey (Hackenberry); his children, Jack Shuey Jr. (Rebecca) of Owego, N. Y. and Jeane Peters (Andy) of Huntingdon; his grandchildren, Kyle R. Shuey, Jessica E. Shuey, Andrea Dodson (Jonathan), Tom Peters and Emily Peters; his great grandchildren, Javaughn, Khairi and Maliyah Dodson; and his sisters, Ruth Hower (Larry) of Mexico and Janet M. Storm (Tom) of Lewistown.
