He was predeceased by: his parent Ruth McKnight-Young (Goss); and his brother Richard McKnight. He is survived by: his parent Merle McKnight; his wife Pat McKnight (Smith); his children, John McKnight, Jr. (Julie) of Washington and Ellie Sievers (Mark) of Lewistown; his half-sister Maryanne Young; his stepsister Jean Ocker of Bellefonte; and his grandchildren, John McKnight, III, Carlyn, Kathryn Hinish, Ashley and Ryan McKnight.
