Schell Jr.; his granddaughter Zoe Rea Schell-Truitt; his siblings, Clayton Schell Jr., Robert Schell, Thomas Schell and Mary Ann Schroy; his children, Christine Vaughn (Gene) of Shirleysburg, Debbie Bryner (Brian) of Lewistown, Gary Schell of Lewistown and Loretta Garcia-Garay (Hector Luis) of Lewistown; his adoptive daughters, Debbie Pennington of Lewistown and Heather L. Knepp of Lewistown; his granddaughter Tiffany Elliott; his adoptive mother Debbie Pennington; his sister Rosalie Schell of Harrisburg; and his cousin Frankie Apa of Harrisburg. He was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren.
